Arya Madhavan is the principal investigator for the project. She is a performer from India with a specialism in Kutiyattam, the oldest existing theatre in the world. She is a senior lecturer in the School of Fine and Performing Arts in the University.

Sreenath Nair is the co-investigator for the project. He is an award winning theatre director and a playwright from India. He is a senior lecturer in the School of Fine and Performing Arts in the University.
